Back when I was still in the insurance business, we evaluated the market and
given the age that the boats were getting to (30+) at the time, I selected
Hagerty as the insurer for the association program. They specialize in older
cars and boats and have a special division for boats so that they are
underwritten properly. We had great claim service with them but they do
require surveys on a periodic basis. The coverage is hard to beat. 

Agreed value is fine but it is really whether the small claim is paid on an
ACV or Replacement Cost basis that is at issue. The agreed value is only the
amount if totaled.
