Also worth checking the amps you're going to be drawing in the first
place; 1A is usually enough. I went with the regulator that I did
because the drop-out voltage was low enough that I could still
realistically expect the lights to get 12V out of any normally
encountered supply voltage from the DV system. If you do need 2A, I
_think_ they can be paralleled pretty safely.
