[Public-List] Cutlass bearing and dripless packing gland

I vote for the old fashioned stuffing box. On my previous boat, a Southern Cross 28, the previous owner installed a PSS. It always made me nervous even though it was only a few years old. It never dripped but made me anxious. I always worried about a catastrophic failure.
