[Public-List] Air cannon?

George,
Consider a paint ball gun. They are readily available, and they can provide discouragement without injury.
I had a problem when anchoring or on a mooring, that a duck would hop onto my dinghy, which was tethered behind my boat. The next morning, I would have a dinghy filled with duck poop. I tried yelling at the duck. No response. I shined a powerful light on the duck. No response. I shot a water bazooka at it. No response.
Then I got a paintball gun. I didn't shoot it to hit the duck, but rather to fling a paintball past his head. Wow. What a response. He levitated out of the dinghy, and didn't return.
