Paul,
How do you intend to use the boat?
I've heard that an outboard in the lazarette tends to lift out of the
water if there's any seaway, so it's mostly good for getting in and out
of a protected harbor.
When my Atomic Four went (exhaust manifold stud pulled out of the side
of the block), I decided the easiest and most direct route was to
install another Atomic 4.
