I have an Engle the smallest one. I kept the Engle in the vberth.  I had a
100w of solar for all my power. I could run the fridge for 3-4 weeks in the
best conditions (lots of sun and few clouds) at anchor.  At sea I turned it
off, if I had good batteries I would cool down a frosty beverage or two ,
those were nice treats in the middle of passages. It was rarely consistent
enough to keep food in it. If I had twice the solar I think I could have
run it most of the time.  Most people also have an alternator, I did not.
