[Public-List] Fuel filler corrosion?

Christian,
Put it in a glass jar with household vinegar over night. In the morning brush off the corrosion. You can do the same with the filler neck. Plug the hose with paper towling and wet the threads with vinegar and use a wire brush to scrub off the corrosion. Vacuum out the debris. Coat both with Boeshield T-9 when assembling. Should be fine. Pic looks like Zinc diecast which is junk. If it is bronze chrome plated then you are good to go.
