Some interesting stuff in there, formulas I did not know even existed; 
600 lbs to drop an inch waterline actually sort of useful.
It seems to me, like so much of statistics, assumptions from incomplete 
factors kind of mess up the conclusions. Directional 
stability/maneuverability not taking into account the huge rudder or cut 
away forefoot in the keel section being one, moderate to low (by today's 
standards) aspect ratio not accounted for in the sail plan throwing off 
the over/under rigged section, another.
Getting the boat moving well in light air/calm seas is one of the joys 
of the Alberg, as long as you have no place to be, of course.
