[Public-List] Interior woodwork

Aboard SURPRISE I cleaned the interior woodwork using mineral spirits on paper towels to remove old dirt and oil.  I then used a purple scotch brite pad to ’sand’ the surfaces (without really sanding) and wiped off the dust with more mineral spirits.   Two coats of ‘Rubbed Effect’ interior satin marine varnish was then applied.  Job was easy to do… looks good and is easy to keep clean.
