My exhaust is above the water line and I see no evidence of a check valve. The only leak I can find is a drip from the raw water pump. My engine is a Volvo MD 7A diesel and salt water cooled.

Any leaks from your raw water cooling system on your motor, or backwards through your exhaust check valve, or head?

In the 10 years I’ve owned the boat I’ve had no issues but now I need to pump it daily. Any thoughts?John IrvingJirvingvt at gmail.com
