I access mine through a cut out made in the port locker. It turned out that what I thought was a leak in the stuffing box was actually a leak between the rudder tube and the hull. I glassed the junction of the tube and hull and after 2 years have not seen any leaks.Marcelo#441

stuffing box, though it's a different size.
