I also installed Candy Cane's compressor at the aft bulkhead of a cockpit locker, but since I installed an oven in the original ice box location (opening forward, to avoid having to shorten any of the settees), and built a new ice box/fridge around the sink, under the starboard side of the galley counter, her compressor went into the starboard locker instead of port.
