[Public-List] Anchor rode

I have a similar setup to Stephen - 30 feet of ⅜  chain and 200 feet nylon
rode. . My 30 lb ‘claw’  when properly set at 7:1 will not move.  There’s
the problem! Breaking it free from Chesapeake mud almost always takes the
engine.

I keep the anchor in the lazarette, so I have to carry it aft. Next project
is a bow roller.  Once I have some experience with that I will consider a
windlass.
