The drawing is for a spinnaker staysail, for light air with the wind at

about 70 -120<sup>o</sup> off the beam. You would need to fasten through

deck to the stem and beef the mast with runners unless you ran it all the

way to the mast head for heavier air applications.

Since it must be removable, is it easily set up at high tension?

<br>I really like the idea of the inner forestay for both working and storm

jib as it moves the COE toward the mast. This conteracts the COE moving

forward when you reef the main.
