Great Lakes Cruising Club is having their rendezvous in Duluth later this
month. As a consequence, we have had several transient boats come through
over the last couple of weeks. As a result, I have a question regarding
the possible installation of a bow roller for anchor storage and
deployment. </SPAN></FONT></DIV>

Alberg designed Pearson Renegade had simply mounted a basic roller parallel
to the centerline offset enough to allow the clearance for the end of the cleave
pin to attach the forestay to the bow fitting(not sure I'm using the correct
term). Last night a Cal 31 arrived which appeared to have
a replacement head fitting that combine the bow roller and the bow
fitting. One side of the bow roller channel was raised an
additional inch or two with two or three holes for attaching the
forestay.</SPAN></FONT></DIV>
