companionway. It is a lot stronger than the halyard, and I would hate to
have the Atomic 4 crash into the cabin sole.</FONT></DIV>

<DIV><FONT face=Arial size=2>I place the 4x4 across the open hatch and hook the
comealong top the 4x4. After the engine is out and sitting in the cabin
(on an old rug), strip everything you can off it. Then two block the
comealong and with 4 friends simply lift it out and sit it in the cockpit.
If the boat is alongside a pier - just walk it ashore. If the boat is on
the hard, have the yard use a crane to get it from the cockpit to the
ground. For ease in carying, the 4x4 should be about 8 feet
