The eye to eye was the measurement between the eye at the masthead to the
eye at the bow fitting that was used in the Harken Install instructions
for cutting the forestay in order to install the furler.<br>

<pre wrap="">I tried to measure it myself and found that I could get differences in length. I decided my method was not consistent in its results to be trustworthy. That is why I decided to send mine to Rigging Only so they could measure and be responsible. There may be some other explanation between the length that you get and what I and others got, but method could be a cause. I do not know if there could be that much variation in the boats. I have not been in Albergland long enough to have an opinion on that. <br><br></pre>
