<DIV><FONT face=Arial size=2>Pat Drenning gave me an idea on this many years ago
that I implemented on my Whitby. I put a one inch thruhull fitting
(plastic) through the deck near the mast (well caulked), and another through an
enlarged hole at the base of the mast. A short piece of white hose then
connects the two thruhulls and the wires pass through the hose. Absolutely
no leaks and can easily be removed if mast needs to come down.
