<P>The newer style boats all have [had] vents out the transom. Mine did too, right in the middle of the name. However when I replaced the tank that was under the cockpit sole with a starboard locker 18 gal. stand up tank, the top of the tank was higher than the vent, so it did not take much hobby horseing to have fuel spill out of the vent.<BR><BR>Mike Lehman </P></DIV>

<DIV></DIV>I've wondered why the original design vented at the combing and not out the
<DIV></DIV>back of the boat. Does it have anything to do with the dry exhaust that runs
<DIV></DIV>all the way to the laz (which at the time I replaced with an exhaust that is
<DIV></DIV>water cooled just after the manifold)?
