<P>When I repowered with the diesel I had to install a new, smaller instrument panel.I have a newer version boat with the panel on starboard aft part of the cockpit. I expoxied a piece of 1/8" G10 epoxy sheet over the existing opening and once it cured, cut out a new opening for the new panel. Once I painted it with Brightside and installed the new panel you would never know that a larger opening ever existed. </P></DIV>

<DIV></DIV>I laminated some teak with resorcinol (sp) glue to make a big block to
<DIV></DIV>insert through the existing hole in the cockpit. my goal was to have the
<DIV></DIV>instruments (water temp. oil pressure, volt, +ign switch and starter
<DIV></DIV>button) angled up some so I could see them while standing. Used table saw,
<DIV></DIV>router, and drill press. Teak is a great wood to work with. Now that I have
<DIV></DIV>done it, I could do a really good job-as usual :-)
