here in Canada, I thought some of you might want to see this.
Actually, having heard Paul, I thought he sounded a bit Swedish - good

<blockquote type="cite" cite>Now this is news - the NOAA is getting
rid of Paul the computer weather voice, in favour of two new
generation yuppie voices, Donna and Craig. One group of boaters in
Cal. is so upset by this move that they have launched an age
discrimination lawsuit on his behalf in order to force the NOAA to
retain him.<br>
The suit was filed in California's circuit court and is expected to be
heard within the month.<br>
If you support this lawsuit, contact the NOAA and let them know that
you want to see Paul remain at his job. Paul has been a good and
faithful friend to all of us for many years - it is entirely unfair of
the NOAA to retire him in this manner. He is being given no
consideration, no sendoff, nothing. Let's all support Paul.<br>
