In addition to what Geroge mentioned. As an Aircraft Mechanic in a former life I learned that the heat applied to the copper via the soldering process actually makes the copper more brittle. Doesn't make much difference on a radio, but on a boat or airplane where there is a great amount of vibration it makes a big difference to the mechanical durability of the connection.<BR>
