<P>I have never seen a drain hole on a fresh water tank in any Alberg 30. The inspection plate on the tank top is a good idea but I don't think was part of the original construction. I have one in my tank top and clean out the inside of the tank annually [we actually use the fresh water tank on our boat, I know many folks don't]. To empty my tank at the end of the season I pump out at the galley until no more water comes out, then pour some potable pink anitfreeze [I used to use vodka] in the tank, pump some more until I get pink stuff out of the galley and she is done. The coffee in the spring was always more interesting when we used vodka for winterizing.<BR><BR>Mike Lehman </P></DIV>
