Greg,

Just to clarify things a little.  #114's cabin sole is solid mahogany planking.
Varnish was really the only way to go.  If we had teak, some sort of sealer would
probably have fit the bill.  Check out my pictures link

finished cabin (forward) with varnish on all mahogany.
