Looking at the sail plan (which is far too big to print on my 8 1/2x11
printer) makes me wonder again just what is the height of the masthead
above the waterline on an A-30? The main's luff is 31 ft. Where is this
below the clearance point on the mast? A foot or so? (I have a local
bridge which is 45 ft above mean high water that so far I have been too
chicken to go under.)
