[alberg30] Lazarette

What is a lazarette ?  I understand the A30 has one.

Is it:
1) the storage area behind the cockpit,
2) or is it the deck area behind the cockpit,
3) or the hatch above the storage area behind the cockpit,
4) or all of the above ?
