I think all of bobjohns comments are valid and I think the idea of a folding
tiller is great!
But it keeps gnawing at me that, with enough creativity and will, a way can be
found.
Nobody had anything to say about my idea for a tilting pedestal. Ok. Then what
about the system where the wheel is installed in the rear of the cockpit with
its shaft going aft into a box you sit on, essentially straddling the wheel
shaft. I've seen it with the seat crowned for sitting with a vertical spine at
any angle of heel. It looks as if it would be ergonomic in an Alberg cockpit.
What do you think?
