Well, Owen, you've just managed to offend at least a dozen accomplished naval 
architects.  Alberg certainly was prolific, but his designs were in turn 
derived from the work of the Herreshoffs and others.  Would you consider 
Halsey Herreshoff's lines for the Bristol 29 and 30 -- vessels of comparable 
size and age to the A30s -- to be variants on Carl Alberg's work?  

Don't confuse quantity with originality, or quality.
