Don't dismiss Harken.  We have had Harken roller furling since '92 and
have used it a lot including cruises out of the Chesapeake to Bahamas
and to Maine.  Never had a bad experience with it.  Have even furled it
in gale force winds, and once ran with a tiny bit unfurled most of a
night when caught in an unexpected gale offshore after dark.  Not sure
which model, but is the larger of the 2 that would fit the Alberg.
