Fair arguments, Tom.  This pole may be from the 20's,  off one of the
Unviversal Rule boats my dad had while I was growing up.  How this one got
excessed, I do no know.  But for its 20 feet, you can lift it with three
fingers!
Maybe I'll save it  for the marine museum I 'll open somdeay.  I certainly
have enough artifacts.
