Shawn, my question is why you are useing "full throttle".  I never run my 
engine wide open, and see no need to.  Perhaps mine would read 65 lb too, at 
that speed.  I cruise my boat at 1450 to 1500 rpm.  It's quiet, doesn't use a 
lot of fuel and moves along at about 6K.  Don't believe the people who tell 
you that they have to run at 3/4 throttle.  They will be rebuilding when your 
engine is still running fine.  There are only so many horsepower hours in any 
engine.  You can have a lot of easy running, or use it all up in a short 
time, it's up to you.  Russ
