[alberg30] hatch

i just purchased a alberg 30 and had her shipped to my home to do as much winter repairs as a novice can. when i looked at the boat(Rascal) her sliding  companionway hatch was in poor shape but attached. i was going to have a new hatch fabricated when she arrived. Rascal arrived o k, but no hatch. does anyone know if there are plans that i could acquire or a yard that can make hatches.
    also, are alcohol stoves supposed to have huge fires before settling down to a nice flame?
