Joe... regarding taping and the like of the area to be filled: It was much
like filling screw heads with drywall mud. If you clean up after yourself
there is not much need to tape. You are really not using much product anyway.
Just make sure you clean the surface well with acetone and clean towels.

Regarding application of the non-skid surface: I hear from
the group many
ways to do it... but I was impressed with the ease of the way we were able to
get a even surface. We masked off all the areas 1st. Then one person rolled on
the non-skid color with a foam roller while the 2nd person sprinkled the
surface to OVER FLOWING with West Sys. non-skid additive ( we used the coarser
of the 2 available ... by the way... it is not a cheap product but its a good
one). Let that dry and vac. off the excess. Then roll over the new non-shid a
couple of times to encapsulate it. WAaa LAaa... it truly is that easy to get a
professional look. One suggestion is not to stop for any reason in the middle
of doing any masked area during the sprinkling process. We did and it was hard
to match the area, but as long as you keep moving along it will give a even
and lasting result.

my 2 cents- greg
