[Alberg30] Staysail and Jib boom installation

I own SORCERESS (hull # 385) in Seabrook, TX.  I'm considering changing up my headsails a little by either adding a small stays'l or making the Jib self tending with a jib boom.  I'll be adding a small mizzen to balance the stays'l.  

Does anybody know of any boats with either of these types of modifications or have any thoughts about this?  Any input regarding this is very welcome.
