Looking to repower #506 Alberg 30, 72'.  Thinking about Yanmar diesel  and taking out Universal atomic 4.  Thoughts on the 2 cylinder  or the 3 cylinder?  The two is 16 hp continuous, and the 3 is 24 hp continuous rating.  Weight difference is only 50 lbs.  Some size difference but either will fit.  Advice and experience appreciated.  Sailed in coastal North Carolina out of Beaufort.
