[alberg30] Stern flange...Names of things

The only carborundum I'm familiar with hones knives.
To recap the story in Pound's words: A post-grad student
went to Agassiz to receive the final touches on his
education. Agassiz gave him a small sunfish and said
describe it. After looking at the little fish for three
weeks the student had exhausted all his fine Latin and was
still trying to describe the fish pages later. At that
point the fish was in an advanced state of decomposition,
but the student knew something about it. (Similar to
working on your boat)

Can you suggest a copy that translates the Greek and Latin
parts?
Illegitimum non carborundum!
