Another option is to convert the pressurized alcohol stove to kerosene.  I am probably one
of the last to prefer kerosene but propane in the cabin scares the crap out of me and
alcohol does not burn hot enough.

To convert just order new burners.  They should be a straightforward replacement. Just be
sure to use teflon tape to seal the couplings.  You will probably need to replace the seals
in the pressure tank also.  Cheaper than a new stove and just as good.

Another option is to use one of the BBQ's that converts to a single burner stove.  This is
what I usually use since down south you really do not want the heat below decks.  Just
remember to keep all propane bottles on deck in a ventilated locker.  Do not keep them in a
space that empties into the bilge.
