IF you want details, send me aprivate e-mail. There are 2 key things to
remeber:

(1) Jack it back up into position using a house jack or the like,
through the opening in the floor to bear on the keel (not the floor). It
must be correspondingly jacked when installed, you can drill the holes
through the beam with the brace in final position.

(2) Make sure that there is clearance from the top of the brace to the
underside of the deck, to avoid dech cracking when the beam flexes under
load.

We made ours from stainless about 10 years ago and it works great.

The BEST course of action for you might be ot see if any already-made
ones still exsist, I think batches of these have been made in the past.
