Brian I enjoyed reading your email on the area in which you sail.  I have 
driven by your marina a number of times and I always wanted to pull in and 
look it over.  Now I know why.  I live in Brooklyn Heights and my wife and I 
sometimes head to the shores of Jamaica Bay at Floyd Bennet for winter bird 
watching.  It is a strangely empty and beautiful place, especially in winter. 
 

I keep my A30 at a marina in Connecticut so I never make it out there in 
seasonable months.  But as  I drive 1.5 hours on a good day I was intrigued 
to read your report on sailing waters so much closer.
