[Alberg30] Bedding Shroud Tangs

Is there a consensus among our members as to what is the best product to use to rebed the shroud tangs going through the deck?

I did mine two or three years ago using Liquid Lifecaulk. It worked but turned an ugly tannish color very quickly. Now their leaking again and since I just brought my brand spanking new interior cushions (main cabin only) on board, I need to stop this leak quick. Lacking any better advise, I'm planning on using 101 this time. Any reason not to? any better product?
