[Alberg30] Deck core

#258 should be with a masonite core.  The pre-liner boats had a deck core made of two sheets of 1/4 inch pegboard, not balsa.  Whitby didn't discover balsa until later in the production.  I don't have a solution to your problem, most of the discussion has been on the newer boats.  I would guess, however trying to pour a fix is going to be rough.  You will probably have to cut all the masonite out and follow Georges suggestion.
