[Alberg30] A30's in the New York / Ct./ N.J. Area

There has been, by the way, a cruise or two to Maine over the years. The
next such endeavour could (with adequate inducement) be detoured into LI
sound. Before we owned the Alberg 30, Harriet and I had, in our earlier
years of marriage, a Southcoast 24 (designed by Carl Alberg) which we kept
in St Mary's City, MD--while I worked at the Military Academy and she worked
for the Commonwealth of Virginia at Jamestown. Hudson River sailing is
challenging--but nowhere near the interest of sailing (as crew) around
Manhattan during the 85 (or was it 86??) tall ships gathering. LI sound and
the N coast of NJ are not the Chesapeake, but I applaud and support your
desire to rendezvous; please send info to Joe Tokarz for an article in the
Mainsheet.. Let your Southeron bretheren know if we can be of assistance.

Rob Alley (your Treasurer)
