[Alberg30] table top? Westerbeke engines?

My original table stores nicely on its side along the forward cabin sole and
against the port berth drawer, with its mount fitting facing port and locked
into a plastic peanut butter jar. The dogleg support also lies between the
table top and side with more peanut jars to cover the ends.

The whole thing is kept in place with a bungie strap.

Note: At some time past, I cut a section off the table and relocated the
mount receptacle to make the table move more efficiently. Also cut the
corners off for easier cleaning, drilled and tapped a simple locking devise
to keep the table from moving, and added notches to the fixed lower
receptacle.

The original storage location for the table top was over the vberth
on the bottom side of the foredeck. You should find a couple
wooden blocks on the bulkhead to the chainlocker that held one
end of the table. The other end was held by a slide latch that
went into a hole on one edge of the table. This slide latch was
mounted on a block of wood fastened to the overhead.

At least, that's how it is in Calypso.
