[Alberg30] Yanmars and old(er) boats

Most yards north of the Boston area want 2000 in labor plus cost of engine, 
shaft,
prop and tank clean-out or new tank. Total cost about 9k. just this weekend
I put in my new aluminum tank and hose in preparation for my new engine.
cost, custom 18gal aluminum tank with return line $350 plus new fill hose, 
vent hose, grounding wire and straps total cost $460. The new tank will fit 
quit easily
through the port locker. Remove the engine compartment side board and 
everything will come out with no trouble. I made a cardboard mockup first
just to be sure  of the fit 27"Lx20"Wx8"H with 11/2" right angle fill pipe 
facing
starboard
