[Alberg30] Re: Carl Alberg Design Novice Kit

About twelve years ago I looked at a Kittiwake or Typhoon Senior, a Carl Alberg
design about 24' LOD.  The owner was an older gentleman who was retired from
ATT.  He said the company he bought the boat from sold hulls in various stages of
kit completion or completed and ready to sail.  An inveterate do-it-yourselfer,
he bought the hull and rudder and built his own deck, cabin house and interior.
It looked a little rough but darn good for home completion.  He installed a
Renault small diesel car conversion and sailed it on Lake Erie.  If I can find
the outside and inside photos, I will post them.  When masts are stepped almost
midway, it is usually a sound of a cutter rig...
