[Alberg30] Masthead sheave

[Jay Davenport]

I just took delivery of a replacement solid aluminum
sheave from my local machine shop. It is for A30 #526,
and is intended to let me switch from a wire halyard
to a 3/8" rope halyard. The diameter has been reduced
from 6 3/4" to 6". The thickness remains at 1/2 ". The
center hole has a bronze bushing. The edge is shaped
for 3/8" rope. It cost me $120.00.
After I have installed it in the mast, I'll report to
the list how it fits & works.
