[Alberg30] Interior moulding

Tait Tait #478 has a small GRP moulding in the cabin on the hull where it rises from the cabin sole.It is about three feet aft of the V berth bulkhead on the starboard side.It is roughly six inches wide six inches high at its deepest side,has a horizontal top with a circular hole about two inches in diameter cut in the top.I think it may be for a depthfinder transducer but am not really sure.It also looks original,not an add on.Anyone else have one of these? Happy New Year everyone.
