[Alberg30] Cockpit drains

The problem is when the boat is on a hard heel, with the drains at the
waterline the cockpit will fill with water through the drains.

I've also thought about additional cockpit drains,two in the aft
vertical wall,as low as possible, Teed into the through hulls for the manual
bilge pump and exhaust both above the waterline.I think 10" might be enough
fall for the existing drains if the outlets are a couple of inches above the
waterline.Has anyone experimented with any of this?
