You might want to check to see who actually made your engine; my M-18
Universal was made by Kubota.  They may have a similar part for much less $.
Most of these engines are widely used for other purposes, including running
generators and referigeration units. Westerbeke--who now owns
Universal--buys the engines, "marinizes" them, and doubles (or worse) the
price.  You might also check local machine shops--surely they could make you
one for less??

In any case, Kubota diesel engine parts can be had by mail from many
sources--assuming your bracket is not one of Westerbeke's marinized parts.
