This doesn't really answer your question, Greg, but if you're looking to move 
up into the 40-foot range, and you appreciate the aesthetics of the Alberg 
30, and you want a classic design, and you don't want to spend a fortune, try 
and have a look at the Bristol 40.  She's a Ted Hood design, and a fine 
sailing boat.  Like the Alberg, she's small inside for her LOA, but Hood 
never designed a hull that was ungainly or didn't move well through the 
water.  The used market for these boats is a good deal less pricey than for 
other equivalent boats in the size range, such as the Block Island 40s (also 
an interesting boat) or the older Hinckley Bermuda 40s.  All three boats were 
inspired by FINISTERRE, as indeed were a number of other hulls.  Great boats.
